UKRAINIAN AUSTRALIAN PROFESSIONAL & BUSINESS ASSOCIATION

History

The UAPBA came into existence in 1979 at a meeting of like-minded Ukrainian professionals in Adelaide. The initial name of Ukrainian Australian Graduates Association was subsequently changed to the Ukrainian Australian Professional & Business Association to better reflect the mix of professional and business interests of its membership.

Over the 24 years of its existence it has actively contributed to the Ukrainian and business community in South Australian. The pool of professional and business expertise within its membership has been put to valuable use in organising major functions, providing a Ukrainian perspective on media, government issues and maintaining a forum for interworking and social interaction of professional and business people with an association with the Ukrainian community.

The UAPBA is constantly evolving to meet new challenges as they arise. An active executive management committee ensures the organisation remains relevant today and is well placed to meet the challenges of the future.
